Oh Suzani

Member this post about my dining room windows? Well, I've got one more beautiful picture of roman shade confirmation to launch me headlong into the project:

Its from Lonny magazine and its exactly what my dining room windows need! Now, I must brainstorm and figure out how to use the least amount of the gorgeous Suzani fabric because its expensive! I want them faux and non-functioning to maintain our backyard tree view. I welcome any of your genius creative thoughts and ideas!!!
Here's some of my favorite Suzani patterns from calico corners.

Fun tidbit: Suzani is a tribal textile made in Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan and is persian for needle.
