I can't get this out of my head

Yesterday I heard a sermon and a verse that I just can't get out of my head, it really should be my life verse. John 3:30,"He must increase, but I must decrease.
I was one of the rare girls growing up that didn't struggle with insecurities I erred on the other side of the spectrum, ugly pride. Since God blessed me with athletic talent I was often at the top of the podium winning medals and awards. While this is a great self-esteem booster as a child, it has been my detriment as an adult. Trust me its not pretty! Just when I think I'm in the clear, tricky pride sneaks in and wants all the credit when truly it should go to Him.

  1. This is a verse I ned to remember also. Not in terms of pride but interms of making my own plans for my life and wanting God to help me with MY plans and not simply give up my plans so I can live God's plan for my life. I must decrease my control, so he can increase his conrtol of my life. Thanks fo sharing. Your blog is a blessing to me.
