All things Australia Week: Hillsong

Its safe to say that Adam and I are "Jesus freaks" enough to take a plane, train, and automobile to attend church. But not just any church, my friends....it's Hillsong in Australia. Ya know, where Darlene Czech penned "Shout to the Lord" along with many other big names. While we love that one, we're mostly taken with the rowdy louder group geared towards youth..."Hillsong United." Haven't heard of em? Let this be your introduction, they are a force to be reckoned with and so is their church with church plants throughout the world. Here's a glimpse of our night there.

It was a total rock concert!

Couldn't have agreed more with the equation on the side of their bus.

Their new album just cut on itunes, here's their mission statement:
"There's a generation across the earth who are being awakened to real love and who are starting to walk in it. Rising up with hearts as one; our value nailed to a cross that we would find value in the broken and the hurting and the lost. Hillsong United seeks to give voice to this generation. Birthed and anchored in the youth movement of Hillsong church, UNITED is about seeing a generation encounter God in a way that changes us from the inside out; so that together we can change our world."

  1. We couldn't go to Australia and NOT go to Hillsongs. It was an amazing night, definitely one of the highlights of an amazing trip!
