Jesus. Travel. Lifestyle.

Seoul, South Korea

Seoul Korea with kids is better than you think

Woah. Seoul Korea blew me away in every way. Chock full of adventure, color, kind people and wonderful food, what more could you want?
If you are military you must stay at the Dragon Hill Lodge, which includes a free shuttle to and from the airport. Our flight from okinawa timed perfectly for the shuttle pick up directly from the airport to their front door. Honestly on trips transportation is usually the biggest stressor especially after landing in a foreign country. Typically we go the wrong direction on the subway twice. So this was life saving, truly I can't say enough about the perfect location of the Dragon Hill Lodge and its perfect placement smack dab in the middle of it all in Seoul. Plus all the amenities, food court, multiple restaurants, indoor/outdoor pools, and laundry room.

The skinny of our itinerary over 4 days. (note: i'm a go-gettter, when I'm on trips with my kids I like to see the most things possible)
Day 1: Airport arrival, Namdaemun market.

Day 2: Korean War Memorial Museum, children's, museum, tag museum (all together in same location) across the street from Dragon Hill Lodge.

Day 3: Itaewon, Vatos urban tacos, Myeongdong market (street food galore-we ate it all), Nanta show. Day 4: Seoul City Bus tour- (21 stops) We stopped at Hanok village, seoul tower, Insadong, Gyeongbok palace.
