So it did snow, just a dusting and I forgot to take pictures! We made the best of it with Naan pizza one of my go-to no brainer recipes when I'm too tired to cook meals. Then to beat the cold headed to the Marine Corps Muesum and waited anxiously for hubs to get home from being away this week; we always pine away for him!
Naan bread
Basil, mozzarella cheese, and San Marzano tomatoes (they are essential)
Crush up the San Marzano whole tomatoes in a bowl then spoon onto naan and add cheese.
Bake at 400 for 12-15 minutes and top with basil.
At the Marine Corps museum Gideon crafted his own cover, well actually I kinda botched it up but he wore it proudly anyway!
Then he took a shot at the (laser) rifle range with my sister, we may a future marine on our hands, yikes!
Hmmm pizza margherita, love it!

ReplyDeleteMy hubby loves naan bread and I'm slowly becoming a fan, too:) This looks delish!
ReplyDeleteI shot those indoors with a 24-70 f2.8.I love this lens but sometimes indoors isn't quite enough. The hubs surprised me with a 50 1.4 though for xmas and it's supposed to arrive tomorrow. (he had to order it late to get sale... or something?) anyway, I'm excited to play around with it.
cute blog you have...darling family.
I am convinced we have same taste in food! I made the coconut soup recipe you featured recently and loved it!
